Concentration in Financial Crimes and Forensic Accounting
To keep up with the development of the accounting field where financial crime prevention are becoming increasingly important in today’s world, a new Financial Crimes and Forensic Accounting concentration is added to the MSAC Program starting from the academic year 2025-26.
Students who opt for the Financial Crimes and Forensic Accounting concentration are required to take six electives in Financial Crimes and Forensic Accounting as part of the program requirements, including:
ACCT 5630 - Business Law
[New] ACCT 5920 - Introduction to Financial Crime
[New] ACCT 5930 - Financial Crime Regulation, Compliance and Sanctions
[New] ACCT 5940 - Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring and Investigation
[New] ACCT 5950 - Financial Crime Risk Management and Governance
[New] ACCT 5960 - Data Analytics for Financial Crime Investigation
